Why this Matters

A Renowned Australian brain surgeon recently said, “I saw 23 patients last week. Twenty were diagnosed with malignant brain cancer. Eight were under 16 years old.”

“Worryingly, there has been little improvement to brain cancer survival rates in almost two decades, but with more research we can make a difference.

Success Story: Look at leukaemia, which killed 90% of patients just 15 years ago. In 15 years that figure is turned on its head  – with a survival rate of 90%  due to funds for research.  Breast cancer is similar.
